A platinum sales award for Madonna's self-titled album (that spawned the singles "Holiday," "Borderline," and "Lucky Star") presented to the artist herself. According to the plaque in the bottom center portion, "Presented To / Madonna / To Commemorate the Sale of More Than / 1,000,000 Copies of the / Sire Records / Long-Playing Record Album / 'Madonna'."
