Kenny Loggins Footloose Original Motion Picture Soundtrack CRIA Platinum Album Award (Columbia JS 39242, 1984). With an infectious Pop-Rock theme song and the start power of a young Kevin Bacon, Footloose was a cultural touchstone of the mid-1980s. The soundtrack, featuring the aforementioned title track by 80s soundtrack hitmaker Kenny Loggins (Caddyshack, Over the Top, Top Gun), songs from Sammy Hagar, Shalamar, another entry from Loggins, and others, was a commercial juggernaut, going platinum nine times in the US alone. This awesome Canadian quintuple-platinum award is presented to Kenny Loggins himself in commemoration of the sale of the more than 500,000 units. With five full-size discs, it's very large. This is an authentic, certified, CRIA (Canadian Recording Industry Association), Five-Times Platinum Album Award. It is a first presentation (construction correct for the date of certification).
