    Description

    Kathy Mattea Grammy Presenter Bronze Medal (1990). A Grammy presenter's medal, cast in bronze, bestowed to two-time Grammy winner Kathy Mattea in 1990 at the 32nd annual Grammys. Front of medal bears the trademark image of the phonograph and reads, "NATIONAL ACADEMY of RECORDING ARTS and SCIENCES." Engraved inscription on verso reads, "IN APPRECIATION / KATHY MATTEA / 32ND ANNUAL GRAMMY AWARDS / 1990." At this same Grammy Awards, Mattea won Best Female Country Vocal Performance; she also won the Country Music Association's Female Vocalist of the Year award in both 1989 and 1990. Measures 3" in diameter. Comes housed in original box with fitted felt lining. In Near Fine condition. COA from Heritage Auctions.
