According to the plaque beneath the gold disc, the award was "Presented to Bernie & Scott Torres to Commemorate the Sale of More Than One Million Copies of the Imperial Records Pop Single Record 'Put a Little Love in Your Heart'". Framed to an overall 13" x 17". In Very Fine condition, with a minor ding to the RIAA plaque. From the David Gest Memorabilia Archive.

    With even more chart success than DeShannon's other hit, "What the World Needs Now is Love," this 1969 Pop smash reached number four on the Billboard Hot 100, and number two on the Adult Contemporary charts.
