Gordon Lightfoot Presented White Matte Sundown RIAA Gold Award With Billboard Top 100 Chart. Two items in this lot, related to the song and album of the same name: 1) A white matte RIAA gold sales award for the album, Sundown. Presented to Gordon for "the sale of more than one million dollars worth" of said album. Measures 17 ½" x 21 ¾". In Very Good condition with tearing on the backing paper, scratching on the frame, and fading on the mini album cover; 2) A framed page out of the Billboard Hot 100 singles chart, "For Week Ending June 29, 1974." Has the single "Sundown" circled in the top spot. Framed to an overall 11" x 15 ¼". Page has significant toning due to age. Overall, item is in Very Good condition with aforementioned toning, along with scratching and tearing on the backing, as well as smudging on the frame. COA from Heritage Auctions.
