Description

Eric Clapton Royal Albert Hall Award. One of Britain's most distinctive venues, Royal Albert Hall has been used for more 150,000 events, including concerts, conferences, ballroom dancing, poetry recitals, education, motor shows, marathons, ballet, opera, circus shows, and sporting events. Although a number of Rock giants -- the Beatles, the Rolling Stones, Led Zeppelin, and Pink Floyd, to name a few -- few of them have had as much success there as has Eric Clapton. This 9" x 12" plaque was presented to Clapton by his management company in commemoration of his 100 sold-out performances at the illustrious venue from 1987 to 1994. Clapton gave the award to his bodyguard Alphi O'Leary as a gift, and it was later sold at auction after O'Leary's death. In Excellent condition.
