Description
Duran Duran Notorious RIAA Flower Hologram Platinum Sales Award. A platinum sales award for Duran Duran's blockbuster album, best known for the title cut. Released in 1986, it was a return of the group following the departure of drummer Roger Taylor, and after the Power Station and Arcadia projects.According to the plaque in the bottom center portion, "Presented To / Bob Ludwig / To Commemorate the Sale of More Than / 1,000,000 Copies of the / Capitol Records, Inc. / Album and Cassette / 'Notorious'."
Measures 16 ¾" x 21". In Very Good condition with loss in the bottom left corner of the frame (as well as scuffing), scrapes on the clear protective cover. COA from Heritage Auctions. From the Bob Ludwig Archive.
