Doobie Brothers Takin' It To The Streets RIAA Platinum Record Sales Award (Warner Bros. BS 2899, 1976). Released in March of 1976, Takin' It To The Streets was the band's sixth studio album and the first to feature newly added vocalist Michael McDonald. With backing support from the Memphis Horns, the album went on to claim the number 8 spot on the Pop Albums Chart, propelling the band to new heights of success. According to the plaque beneath the platinum disc, this award was "presented to Bruce Cohn, the Doobie's manager for over four years, "To Commemorate the Sale of More Than 1,000,000 Copies of the Warner Bros. Records Long-Playing Record Album 'Takin' It To The Streets'". Framed in an antique silver finish to an overall 17" x 21" and in Fine condition, with album cover image slightly off-center and minor wear to frame edges.
