Description

David Sanborn A Change of Heart RIAA R Hologram Gold Sales Award. A gold sales award for the jazz saxophonist's 1987 album. Per the plaque in the bottom center portion, "Presented To / Right Track Studios / To Commemorate the Sale of More Than / 500,000 copies of the / Warner Bros. Records / Album and Cassette / 'A Change of Heart'."

Housed in Manhattan, Right Track Recording opened in 1976. A very diverse mix of artists worked there, from Talking Heads to Whitney Houston to Foreigner to Kraftwerk to Jodeci to Ozzy Osbourne. When later merged with another studio, its location was rechristened as MSR Studios, and it closed in 2016.

Measures approx. 17" x 21". In Very Good Plus condition with some warping on the frame's top and bottom, as well as loss in the bottom left corner of the frame. COA from Heritage Auctions.
