Description
B.J. Thomas "Hooked On A Feeling" Appreciation Award. An in-house/appreciation award for B.J. Thomas's 1968 major hit, written by Mark James. This tune was redone in the 1970s by Blue Swede and featured in various TV shows and movies (including Guardians of the Galaxy), but Thomas had the first hit version.According to the plaque in the bottom left corner, "Presented To / WYSL / In Appreciation / Scepter Records, Inc." Award has been repaired. Measures 12" square. In Very Good Plus condition with some wear on the frame. COA from Heritage Auctions. From the Collection of DJ "Mr. Ed" Lambert.
