Beatles Rubber Soul RIAA Gold Album Award. Presented to the Beatles by the RIAA to commemorate the sale of $1 million worth of the Fab Four's December 1965 LP. Recorded in just four weeks in order to be on the market for Christmas, the album exhibited a sound influenced by contemporary Folk Rock. It became a major artistic achievement, a commercial and critical success, and marked a turning point for the band's sound. The award is framed to an overall size of 17.5" x 21.5" and in Very Fine condition with some wear to the frame.
