    Alannah Myles BPI (UK) Gold Record Sales Award (Atlantic 781 956-1, 1989). Released in 1989, Myles' eponymous debut spawned numerous top 10 hits, including the chart topping "Black Velvet" which reached number one on the U.S. Billboard Top 40 in 1990 and has become an enduring radio favorite ever since. According to the plaque beneath the gold disc, this award was "Presented to Ron Stone to recognise sales in the United Kingdom of more than 100,000 copies of the Atlantic album 'Alannah Myles' / 1989". Framed in a gold finish to an overall 16" x 20.25". In Very Good condition, with very minor scratching to the frame, though the gold disc has become unattached in the frame.
