Aerosmith Get A Grip In-House Platinum Record Sales Award (Geffen Records GEFD-24455, 1993). Their eleventh studio album and the last on Geffen, featured the monster hit "Livin' on the Edge." According to the plaque beneath the platinum disc, this award was "Presented to John O'Dea to Commemorate the Sale of More Than 1,000,000 Copies of the Geffen Records Album, Cassette and C.D. 'Get A Grip'". The disc is matted with a CD cover against a matching black and white cowhide pattern. We note that there is even a gold nipple ring attached to the platinum disc to match the one in the cow udder photo. Framed in a black lacquer finish to an overall 17" x 21" and in Very Fine condition.Auction Info
