ABBA "Dancing Queen" RIAA Gold Record Award (Atlantic 45-3372, 1976). The most recognizable hit from the Swedish Europop sensations, "Dancing Queen" was released as a single in August, 1976 in their home country before hitting the rest of Europe days later. It hit Number One in the US on the Billboard Hot 100 chart in 1977. According to the plaque beneath the gold disc, this award was "Presented to Atlantic Recording Corp. to Commemorate the Sale of More Than One Million Copies of the Atlantic Records Single Record 'Dancing Queen'".
