Weighty (9 pounds), made of sand-colored granite, presented to the singer by the City of Fort Lauderdale for the "50th Anniversary Celebration" of the classic 1960 Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer film where Francis not only had the starring role of "Angie" but also sang the memorable theme song that became a huge hit; interestingly, this award's design is a miniature replica of the actual plaque that is embedded in the sidewalk at Highway A1A and Las Olas Boulevard in Fort Lauderdale (where the movie was filmed) which was renamed "Connie Francis Square" on May 29, 2010 (the day this award was given to her); furthermore, the City of Fort Lauderdale will be having another three-day extravaganza to celebrate Francis' birthday this December 12, 2017.
