1910 Fruitgum Company "Indian Giver" RIAA White Matte Gold Record Sales Award (Buddah, 1969). Recorded for the album of the same name, "Indian Giver" was on the Billboard charts for 13 weeks, where it peaked at number five. Covers of the song were issued much later by both the Ramones and Joan Jett & the Blackhearts. According to plaque beneath the gold disc, the award was presented to record exec. Cecil Holmes in honor of more than one million copies sold. Framed in wood with a rare white matte to approximately 13" x 17". Fine condition, with minor wear to the frame.Auction Info
