Description
The Beatles/John Lennon Signed Imagine Vinyl LP (Apple, SW 3379). A very rare copy of John Lennon/Plastic Ono Band's Imagine, with a very large signature by Lennon with a red ballpoint pen, matted and framed. The sleeve -- from the US version, put out by Apple Records -- is matted and framed to an overall 18 ½" x 22 ½". Signed album covers by any Beatle are extremely rare and in high demand due to the scarcity. Signature was obtained in mid-May of 1975 at a fundraiser for radio/TV stations in Philadelphia. Lennon was there to work and take pledges, and he was happy to sign autographs, but he asked for donations to the stations in return. Sleeve is in MT 9 condition. Also comes with the disc in its own, separate white sleeve, and is in MT 9 condition. Plus the original poster and limited postcard in NM-8 condition.
