The Beatles Band-Signed A Hard Day's Night Promotional Photo. This vintage b&w 14.5' x 11.5" promotional photo is one of those rare pieces of Beatles memorabilia that bears the autographs of each of the Fab Four: Paul McCartney has inscribed "Love" and signed in blue ballpoint, Ringo Starr signed in light green ballpoint that appears as gray against the image, John Lennon signed in black ballpoint, and George Harrison signed "To Louisea lovea froma Georgea Harrisonea" in black ballpoint. (It should be noted that there is a second, larger McCartney signature on the photo that is printed on, not handwritten.) The autographs were obtained by acclaimed British actor Norman Rossington in March/April 1964 during the filming of the Beatles' motion picture debut, A Hard Day's Night. This was one of many dropped from a helicopter during the filming of sequences of the Beatles on the playing fields; this is to date the only known autographed copy. In Very Fine condition with some mild creasing and tanning, as well as several tears to the top right corner that appear to have been repaired, accompanied by a letter from the original owner.
