Beatles Autographs from the All You Need Is Love Sessions (1967). A stunning set of Beatles autographs on a single page that has been taken from a notebook in black ballpoint pen. Each signature is extremely well formed and placed on the page. Autographs of all four Beatles from this time period are very rare. The autographs were obtained by a member of staff at Olympic Studios, Barnes, London on 14th June 1967 when the group were there to recording 'All You Need Is Love'. On May 18th The Beatles announced that they were be appearing on the 'Our World' global live television broadcast, the first of its kind in the world. As part of the programme the group agreed to be shown in the studio, recording the song that they had specially composed for the occasion. Unable to book time in EMI's, Abbey Road, London studios at such short notice they opted for Olympic Studios. The first 33 takes were the basic rhythm track with a little vocal were taped between 10:30 pm and 3:00 am with George Martin producing, Eddie Kramer as balance engineer and The Beatles playing instruments normally associated with session musician, John on harpsichord, Paul on double bass, George trying his hand at violin and Ringo keeping it all together on drums. Then between 3:00 am and 3:45 am take ten, the basic track was given a reduction, this was then treated to a rough mono mix between 3:45 am and 4:00 am. To date this is the only set of Beatles autographs that we have owned from 14th June 1967. The page that The Beatles have signed come with the cover of the original book that it was taken from on which is written 'STUDIO PRO 6284 Barnes Beatles Signature' The page measures 3.75 inches x 6.5 inches.
