    Description

Patsy Cline Six-Page Handwritten Letter (1957). This is a candid, six-page view into the professional and personal life of Country pioneer and legend, Patsy Cline. Dated "3/7/57", the letter, written in blue ink on 6" x 9" paper, details the time period when "Walking After Midnight", her massive (and first) crossover hit was blazing up the charts. A quote from page two reads: "We had sold 600,000 and was still selling 40,000 a day. Decca said I had already their No. 1 seller over Jerry Lewis, the Platters and Bill Haley." That's huge, considering Country music didn't often crossover into the Pop charts much in those days. The letter comes with its original stamped and addressed envelope, and is in Pristine condition. Includes LOA from PSA/DNA. COA from Heritage Auctions.
