Ozzy Osbourne Signed Ozzfest Poster (2000). A poster for the 2000 edition of the travelling tour, signed by the headliner with a gold felt tip. This was a time when the hip-hop-influenced nü-metal was the very popular sound, as Methods of Mayhem, P.O.D., and Crazy Town were major acts on the bill. This would also be the beginning of the end of Pantera, who released what would be their final album, Reinventing the Steel, that year. Three years later, they officially disbanded. Measures 13" x 19". In Very Good Minus condition with some corner bumping and Ozzy's signature has faded. COA from Heritage Auctions.

SPECIAL NOTE: Heritage is very proud to be representing concert posters and handbills this auction from the ARChive of Contemporary Music in New York City. ARC is a non-profit music library that has over five million artifacts in its collection, focusing on records and recorded music, but with extensive paper archives as well. Co-founder and Executive Directory B. George has been generous enough to consign a number of items to Heritage from the archives for this auction.

ARC's credibility is impeccable. Current and past members of its Board of Advisors have included Keith Richards, Paul Simon and Martin Scorsese, and the late David Bowie, John Hammond, Ellie Greenwich, Lou Reed and Jerry Wexler.

Since these items are from ARC's archives, they are all original, pre-concert first printings and usually in fabulous condition. We hope you'll keep an eye toward the non-profit work of ARC in placing your generous bids for these beautiful pieces.
