    John Lennon Signed Copy Of Double Fantasy Owned By a Dakota Employee Who Attended To Lennon On The Night He Was Shot (Geffen GHS 2001, 1980). Signed and inscribed on the back in blue ballpoint pen "To Jay, / Love / John Lennon / Yoko Ono". In a Warner Bros. Records Inc."Promotional Materials" white paper sleeve inscribed in blue felt pen "autographed" . The lot also includes: 1. A typed letter of thanks from Yoko Ono dated Dec 22 '80, to "The Dakota Staff:...I am deeply touched by your expression of grief and support / at this trying time for my family and myself. / Thank you for everything. / With love, / (Mrs) Yoko Ono Lennon. In original Lenono envelope inscribed "Jay Hastings" to the front. 2. A Thanksgiving card dated '78 with a printed message, doodle and signatures from John, Yoko and Sean. 3. A white dress shirt labeled "Fashion World" , the collar initialed inside J.H. in black ink. The shirt was worn by Jay Hastings on the night that John Lennon was shot, with several traces of blood to the area of the right chest area and sleeves. It is discolored yellow, particularly to the armpits. 4. A copy of an article published in Rolling Stone Magazine on January 22nd, 1981 featuring an interview with Jay Hastings who was working at the Dakota on the night that John Lennon was shot and went to his aid when he collapsed to the floor, inside the building.
