John Lennon Handwritten Note, Doodle, and Initials On Rock 'N' Roll Book Layout. An 11" x 15" thin cardboard (with a thin paper taped on top with annotations in red ink) used in the layout for a book released in conjunction to John Lennon's Rock 'N' Roll in the mid-1970s, with a handwritten note, doodle, and initials from Lennon in thin black ink. The message reads, "This is the day / i met Paul / also the first time / i sang Be Bop a Lula / live on stage!" with the initials "J.L." and a smiley-face doodle.

The layout (with a typed quote from John, a picture of Gene Vincent, and a pic of a teenage John adhesed to the board) was for the fourth page in the book. In Very Good Plus condition with a light smudge next to John's note, pin holes in the upper portion, and bumped corners (as well as folds and creases on the thin paper). COA from Heritage Auctions.
