Description

John Lennon Autographed Imagine Poster (1971). John Lennon's solo career really hit its peak with the classic and much-loved Imagine album. The title song remains an all-time favorite that bridges the gaps between generations, and serves as an inspiration for millions with its message of hope and peace. Included with that landmark LP was a 22" x 32.5" folded poster, showing John at his iconic white piano. Autographed copies of this poster are impossibly rare, but here's a choice example, signed "To Gail, Love from John Lennon," and is dated 1971, the year the album was released. The story is that "Gail" was the daughter of one of the recording engineers or crew. The poster has been professionally matted and framed with UV3 Preservation Glass to an overall 29.5" x 29.5", and has the top third folded back for better display. The condition is Excellent. Included are letters of authenticity from noted Beatles experts Perry Cox and Frank Caiazzo. If you've ever dreamt of owning a world class piece of John Lennon memorabilia, then this is the one for you, beautiful dreamer! LOAs from Perry Cox and Frank Caiazzo.
