    John Hiatt Signed Guitar. A rare solid body 1995 Washburn SBF-80 Cherry Burst with a Piezo pickup, mahogany body, flamed maple top, and bound rosewood fingerboard with cross mother of pearl inlay, signed by American rock guitarist, pianist, singer, and songwriter John Hiatt. The guitar is simply beautiful and in Excellent condition, with a few vary small dings to the back only. It includes a Gator soft case gig bag. From the Jeff Abrams Rock 'n' Roll Archive.

    John Hiatt's first LP on Capitol Records was Walk On, released in October 1995. He did a small tour in the Midwest in support of the album, and Jeff Abrams, then Senior VP of Music Marketing for Best Buy, met him when he played First Avenue, in Minneapolis, and a few days later presented him with a signed '95 Washburn guitar in appreciation of his personal efforts to insure a detailed marketing program was in place in almost 300 stores to provide maximum impact and exposure to the new record from this great talent..
