Jimi Hendrix Signature and Handwritten Contact Information in Framed Display. An interesting and very personal piece of Hendrix history. On a 7.75" x 7.25" piece of lined paper, he has written the following in ink: "Jimi Hendrix/ Office: MU 9 0810/ 27 E 37th St. N.Y. N.Y./ c/o Jeffery & Chandler/ [please tell them personal & private." According to the December 1991 Sotheby's catalog where this was originally offered, this note was given by Hendrix "to bass player Roland Robinson indicating the code words (personal & private) to reach him through his manager." Handsomely matted and framed to an overall 18" x 17". The page exhibits folds and general wear, Very Good. Frame is in excellent condition. Also included in this lot is the December 1968 issue of Guitar Player magazine with Hendrix on the cover which includes a three page illustrated article (Fine) and a 1971-dated LP Impromptu on the Pantonic label with a great color performance image on the cover (EX 7 / NM 8).
