Jimi Hendrix, Rolling Stones, Eric Clapton and Yardbirds Multi-Signed Address Book, and Jimi Hendrix Beads. In the late-1960s, when change and revolution hung in the air, nobody in the music world stood out more vividly than Jimi Hendrix. His amazing talent and exciting style were emblematic of the tempestuous time. Here in this lot we are proud to offer an incredible cluster of autographs from the late megastar, along with a few more from some of his friends -- such as the Stones, the Yardbirds, Clapton, Marc Bolan, and more.

This little book -- measuring 2.75" x 4.25" -- was assembled by a young British girl and devoted Hendrix fan who became close friends with the star. The book contains a staggering total of ten (!) Jimi Hendrix autographs: five are Jimi alone, with great sentiments (e.g. "Love always and forever"); five more are accompanied by autographs of fellow members of his band, Noel Redding and Mitch Mitchell; and there are even a couple of little drawings (e.g. a heart with an arrow through it). (And, actually, since one of the full band-signed autograph pages has Jimi adding "Jimi Hendrix Experience" below the autographs, one could say the book has eleven in total.) His signature is rare, as his fans know...and to find this many outstanding examples in one place is literally unheard of. The original owner sold the collection in 1972 to a collector who kept it for years, selling it to our consignor over a decade ago. It has never been offered for public sale until now.

Adding to the charm -- and collectibility -- of the book are signatures of the Rolling Stones (with Brian Jones), The Yardbirds, Eric Clapton, Marc Bolan of T-Rex, Pete Green, and several more great musicians of the era.

Finally, included in the lot is a group of four pieces of jewelry...all given to the young fan at her request by Jimi Hendrix. While we certainly can't "prove" the ownership -- there were no meaningful "certificates of authenticity" almost 40 years ago -- we believe completely that these were, as described, owned and worn by Jimi Hendrix. After all, they are modest little pieces of costume jewelry done in the late-1960s style with no real intrinsic value. We have no doubts whatsoever that any charming young British lady who could persuade Jimi Hendrix to give her a total of eleven autographs could also charm him out of a few pieces of jewelry.

This incredible lot will belong to a real fan and serious collector of vintage rock music legends. Good Luck!
