Jimi Hendrix Photo with Signed Mat (1969). Jimi personalized the framing mat for a 12" x 18" black and white concert photo to famed management attorney Stevens "Steve" Weiss, with the notation, "To Steve, who understands - love, happiness and peace of mind forever! Jimi Hendrix, September 6, 1969", and Jimi added doodles, stars, and hearts on the white mat. The inscription is in marker that has faded to a light brown, but it is still legible. The matted photo is housed in an elaborate wood and leather frame with glass, measuring 24.5" x 31". In overall Very Good condition. From the Stevens Weiss Archive; with a COA from Heritage Auctions.
