    Description

Janis Joplin Signed Envelope. One of the greatest female rock singers of the 1960s, Janis Joplin's wailing, raspy, supercharged emotional delivery allowed her to rise to stardom in the late '60s during a brief and uneven (but commercially successful) career as a solo artist before tragically dying at the age of 27 of a drug overdose. Featured in this lot is an envelope signed by Joplin, dated September 24, 1965, and addressed and sent to her then-boyfriend Peter De Blanc. A nifty piece of pop music memorabilia. With COA from PSA/DNA.
