    Frank Zappa Signed Check to Artist Cal Schenkel. Signed bank check from Frank Zappa to Cal Schenkel, the artist who created the artwork for many Zappa albums, including "Lumpy Gravy," "Uncle Meat," and "Hot Rats". Drawn on Zappa's Bizarre Inc. business account, dated July 6, 1973, made payable to Schenkel for a total of $200.00. Signed by Zappa on the front and by Schenkel on the reverse in blue ballpoint pen. A minor ink notation intersects the tail end of Zappa's signature, otherwise fine.
