Description
Elvis Presley Signed Hotel Receipt, 1958. From the Western Hills Inn in Euless, Texas, signed in blue ballpoint ink on the verso "Elvis Presley;" front side notes this was the invoice for "Michele Burris," one of the beauty contestants in the July 1958 contest for "Miss Western Hills Inn" -- an event that coincided with Presley's visit there when he signed this for Burris who has now directly consigned this piece here! (See previous lot for an image of Burris as a contestant.) (Please note there is tape staining on document and original fold marks and slight creasing are evident but Presley's autograph is not affected.)7 1/2" x 7 1/2" COA from Heritage Auctions.
