    Description

Elvis Presley Signed Contract (1974). This performance contract dated April 10, 1974 between J. D. Sumner and the Stamps Vocal Group and the Elvis Presley Show is an agreement for a four day tour commencing on May 10, 1974. While there were several management executives authorized to sign such contracts, Elvis showed his admiration for Sumner by signing the contract himself, reflecting his admiration for his boyhood idol as well as respect for a vital part of his touring concerts. The beautifully framed display includes a 9" x 7" black and white photo of Elvis, J. D. and the Stamps. Overall the unique display measures 16" x 33" and is in excellent condition. From the J. D. Sumner Archives. Accompanied by a letter of provenance from Shirley Sumner Enoch.
