Elvis Presley Signed Check to J. D. Sumner (1975). A customized GMC bus for $21,000 sounds like a great deal, but, after all, it was 1975, when a buck was still a buck! Elvis' generosity shines through on this item, written to J. D. Sumner and signed in bold blue ink by "E. A. Presley". The bonus here is the signature on the back of the check of Sumner, Elvis' friend and the leader of the Stamps Quartet, who performed regularly with Elvis in the 1970s.
