Elvis Presley Signed and Inscribed Oversized Portrait by Bud Fraker. Here is a very special autographed Elvis photograph made out to Ken Moore, his head of security from 1957-60. Ken can be seen in many photos of Elvis from this period, a big, handsome man with a shock of wavy hair, often with a big friendly smile on his face -- and never too far from Elvis in a crowd! Ken was the son of a Texas concert promoter who often booked Elvis in the early days, and it was through that connection that he was hired by Colonel Parker. This gorgeous vintage portrait of Elvis was taken in 1960 by the famous Hollywood portrait photographer Bud Fraker (perhaps best-known for his classic publicity shots of Audrey Hepburn in Breakfast At Tiffany's the following year) and includes the artist stamp "Paramount Photo By Bud Fraker" on the verso. Elvis has personally inscribed the photo "To Ken, Thanks for all your help: my Bud "PERADIGAN" Elvis Presley. Ken Moore passed away shortly after receiving the photo, and unfortunately the meaning of the inscription was never explained to his family, who consigned the photo to Heritage. Measuring 11" x 14", on heavy stock with great detail and a slightly sepia matte finish, it is in Excellent condition and is a truly gorgeous autographed portrait of the King. COA from Rich Consola. COA from Heritage Auctions.
