Description

Davie Jones (David Bowie) and the King Bees / The Animals Signatures on an Album Page (1964). A 4" x 4.5" blue album page signed on one side by the members of Bowie's short-lived second band: Davie Jones, Roger Bluck, Bob Allen, Dave Howard, and George Underwood. They released one single in June 1964, "Liza Jane" / "Louie Louie Go Home". Jones left the group shortly thereafter, eventually changed his name to David Bowie, and the rest is history. On the verso are the autographs of the Animals: Eric Burdon, Alan Price, Chas Chandler, Hilton Valentine, and John Steel. Two very desirable groups; the King Bees are exceedingly rare.
