Charlie Parker Signed Magazine Page. A page from Rhythm & Blues magazine, signed by Grammy Award-winning jazz saxophonist and composer Charlie "Bird" Parker. One of the most innovative improvisers in jazz history, Parker was a leader in developing the emerging bebop style of the '40s. He died at the age of 34. One of the rarest of all jazz signatures, the page is fragile and uniformly tanned, frayed, nicked and worn at edges. There is a horizontal surface tear at lower right blank margin, repaired with tape on the reverse, and mounting remnants on the reverse at upper margin. With COA from noted Jazz expert Larry Rafferty.
