Description

Beatles Signed Color Pin-Up Poster (London, 1963-64). A 9.5" x 14.5" printed color group photo, being the centerfold of a period fan magazine. It is signed in ballpoint ink by each near their respective images. This was obtained by a long-time employee of the London Palladium who personally handed the poster to Paul McCartney in the Beatles dressing room during one of their performances at this venerable West End theatre. The contrast on the signatures is light, but they are all visible. The poster has a flattened horizontal fold but is otherwise fine. A prize display item. With LOA from Tracks UK.

The coining of the term "Beatlemania" is credited to the Beatles' first appearance, October 13, 1963, on Val Parnell's popular TV variety show Sunday Night At The London Palladium. Fans were screaming so loud during their musical numbers that John told them to "Shut Up!" Fifteen million people saw the show and the next day found the nation's newspapers carrying stories about the rabid fans. Their second appearance at the Palladium was on January 12, 1964, again on Parnell's show. On July 23, 1964, they performed at a midnight revue show at the London Palladium, entitled The Night Of A Hundred Stars, in aid of the Combined Theatrical Charities Appeals Council.

The movie quite literally changed my life. I have included a pic of me in Sly's Rocky 3 Cashmere overcoat, would much appreciate if it is possible for you to forward this email to Sly to let him know the overcoat is in good hands, and will be well taken care of, (as will be the Rambo knife forging tools, the other lot I won!) Wish you very happy holidays and a great 2016!
