Beatles - Ringo Starr Document Signed "R Starkey" (Surrey, February 23, 1967). A 7.5" x 8.375" printed statement, filled in by hand, from Nicholson's Weybridge Store with three attached receipts, requesting payment of £14 2s from "Bryce Hammer & Co" (the Beatles' accountants) for retail hardware-type goods. The attached receipts are made out to Mr. R. Starkey at Sunny Heights, St. George's Hill. The statement is boldly signed in purple felt tip: "R Starkey" as "Passed for Payment". Sunny Heights was the house that Ringo bought in July 1965 for he, his wife Maureen, and later, his children to live. It was near John Lennon's house, Kenwood. February 1967 found the Beatles hard at work on their landmark album Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band. Very Fine. From the Uwe Blaschke Beatles Collection. COA from Heritage Auctions.
