Description

Beatles Related - John Lennon Signed Check. A check for £867, dated October 14, 1970, and signed by Lennon in black ink. The date on the check places it six months after the public announcement of the breakup of the Beatles, and five months after the release of their final studio album, Let It Be. Paul McCartney would file a suit for the dissolution of the Beatles partnership on December 31, 1970, effectively ending the band's career together. The check is in Excellent condition with the usual bank cancellation marks, and is matted and framed along with a b&w image of Lennon and small plaque, to an overall size of 13.75" x 22.5". Accompanied by James Spence Authentication auction LOA.
