Description

    Beatles - Paul McCartney Typed Letter Signed in Matted Display (London, October 19, 1976). A one page 7" x 11.25" (sight size) letter on MPL Communications Limited letterhead, to N. M. Rothschild & Sons Ltd. confirming instructions previously given by Lee Eastman regarding where to send future bank statements and personal account information, signed at close in blue ink: "P McCartney". Lee Eastman was Paul's father-in-law as well as his attorney and business manager from 1969. He represented Paul in his lawsuit against his bandmates to dissolve their contractual partnership in the early 1970s. The date of this letter coincides with the last three dates of the year-long "Wings Over the World" tour at Wembley Empire Pool in London. Matted with a 7.5" x 9.5" B&W photo of Paul to an overall 24" x 19.25". Letter has mailing folds and handwritten notes by the recipient, overall Fine. From the Uwe Blaschke Beatles Collection.
