Description

Beatles John Lennon Bag One Leather Case and Original Erotic #2 Lithograph #181/300 (1970). John Lennon's controversial set of fourteen lithographs issued in 1970 came from images John drew and gave to his new wife Yoko Ono, in 1969. The original set of lithos were limited to an edition of 300, and sold at an exhibition. Buyers of all 14 prints received a now-scarce white patent leather zippered portfolio bag to carry the 30" x 22.75" litho prints. This lot includes the print entitled Erotic #2 and the original portfolio bag. The print has some very slight small stain and minor wear along the edges from a previous framing, but is otherwise in Excellent condition, and signed by Lennon at bottom right. It will display beautifully with a wonderfully bold Lennon signature in graphite. The 32.5" x 24" bag is in overall Fine condition, with a few small spots of wear and a tiny nick or two. The print comes rolled in a tube. Adults can view the print at HA.com/7064.
