Beatles Ed Sullivan Show, February 9, 1964, Dress Rehearsal Schedule for Signed by John, Paul, and Ringo. An 8" x 11" pink dittoed sheet titled "The Ed Sullivan Show" and "Air: February 9, 1964" along with "Whitehall/ Pillsbury" (sponsors) and "Rev #2 Dress as of 12:00". It lists, in order, every segment of the show in including all acts and commercials. It is signed "John Lennon" and "Paul McCartney" near the listing of their first set, and "Ringo Starr" near the listing of their second set. This was obtained by Noreen Fay, a member of the acrobatic troop Wells & Four Fays, who had the unenviable task of closing the show after the Beatles finished performing their huge hit "I Want To Hold Your Hand." In an accompanying signed and notarized letter, she tells the story of how George was sick and not there at the rehearsal and how she quietly asked the other three for their autographs during the rehearsal. Much has been said and written this year about the Beatles and the importance of this evening's performance, their first in front of an American audience. Here is a rare opportunity to own a remarkable memento from that day, placed and held for fifty years in the collection of a young lady who was there to experience it firsthand. Excellent. "My name is Noreen Wilson Salce, aka Noreen Fay. As an acrobatic dancer, I was employed with Wells & Four Fays for ten (10) years. We were booked to do the Ed Sullivan Show live on February 9, 1964, as were the Beatles. It was their first appearance in the U.S.A.

"When I first met the Beatles, John, Paul and Ringo, they were sitting on the steps to the dressing rooms upstairs. George was not there due to his being sick and he was told to stay at the hotel.

"I had a copy of the 'dress rehearsal' run-down times, so I asked the Beatles John, Paul and Ringo for their autographs. They were happy to oblige. They were very quiet and polite. I do not remember the conversation with them, because back-stage we had to be quiet due to other acts rehearsing for the show.

"This is a true statement of my association with Wells & Four Fays who appeared live on the Ed Sullivan Show on February 9, 1964, along with the Beatles, George, John, Paul and Ringo.
