Amos Milburn Rockin' The Boogie 10" LP (Aladdin 592, 1955). Just like the previous lot, only rarer -- the red vinyl version of one of first LPs released by the Los Angeles-based Aladdin label. The Blues/boogie-woogie styled singer-pianist was an original, and paved the way for other R&B performers to later cross over onto the Pop charts, Fats Domino being a prime example. In the late 1940s and early 1950s, Milburn had four #1 R&B hits, plus 15 other Top 10 smashes. Condition VG-EX 6 (with brown felt touchup on front cover)/ VG 5.
