    Description

Young "Jabba the Hutt" maquette from Star Wars: Episode I -The Phantom Menace. (TCF, 1999) In the universe of Star Wars villains, the sinister slug-like "Jabba the Hutt" is the alien crime boss we love to hate. Since his first appearance in Return of the Jedi, "Jabba" has been a corpulent and loathsome presence throughout George Lukas' blockbuster Sci-Fi franchise. This is a production-made maquette of a "young Jabba" as he appeared in Star Wars: Episode I -The Phantom Menace. Consisting of a 22 x 16 in. hollow-cast resin maquette, expertly studio-painted in fleshtones and greens. With attention given to the signature mottled, orange reptilian eyes. Possibly used as a reference model or paint master, the impressive figure remains in production-used, fine condition and ready for display. Special shipping.
