Vintage Wind Machine from Twentieth Century Fox Studios. Original vintage wind machine from Twentieth Century Fox Studios. Machines like this one were used in filmmaking to generate anything from a gentle breeze to theatrical hurricane-force winds. The 40 in. tall (adjustable height) wind machine consists of full metal construction with 21.5 x 6 in. fan blade cage, 20 in. long fan blade propeller, a GE motor protrudes from the back of the fan cage. Round 20 in. metal base enclosed by an 18 in. square wheeled base. A hand-crank adjusts the pitch of the cage up or down. With metal TCF badge present. Electronics present and in working order.
