The Honeymooners (CBS TV, 1955-1956), Jackie Gleason Bus Toy. Vintage original tin lithographed push-down toy bus manufactured by Wolverine in 1955 as merchandise for the Jackie Gleason program The Honeymooners, constructed of a 14" x 4.5" x 5" piece of tin and printed with the design of a city bus featuring portraits of different characters from the series in the windows including Ralph Kramden (Jackie Gleason) in his usual spot at the driver's seat. Bus features a vibrant red, white, and blue color scheme brandished with "Honeymooners' Special / JACKIE GLEASON BUS" to each side and catchphrases "Awa-a-y We Go!" to top and front and "Pow!" to the rear. Exterior shell is mounted onto a metal push-down contraption that is attached to 4- wooden wheels, all working together to create a whimsical piece of merchandise based on the series. Bus exhibiting expected wear and handling with some scuffs, stains, and smudging to the exterior and a rich patina to the overall color from age. Comes with a COA from Heritage Auctions.
