The Honeymooners (CBS, 1955-1956), Jackie Gleason Bus Toy. Vintage original tin push-down toy bus manufactured by Wolverine circa 1955 and measuring 14" x 4.5" x 5". Exterior is lithographed with portraits of different characters from the series in the windows, including Ralph Kramden (Jackie Gleason) at the wheel, and with text reading, "Honeymooners' Special / JACKIE GLEASON BUS" to each side and Gleason's catchphrase "Awa-a-y We Go!" to top and front and "Pow!" for the license plate. Mounted onto black-painted wooden wheels and a mechanical axle system for releasing the toy when the push-down is activated. Comes with vintage original packaging and typewritten instructions for how to operate the toy's mechanics. Exhibiting age and wear including scuffs to metal not affecting illustrations. Exterior packaging in fragile, delicate shape with stiffening to the opening flaps, some flap pieces entirely separated, and dried glue. Comes with a COA from Heritage Auctions.
