G.I. Joe Storm Shadow AFA 75 EX+/NM (C70 B80 F80) Series 3, 32-Back (Hasbro, 1984). With the pop culture renaissance of the 80's, one of the earliest successes was none other than G.I. Joe! Originally a 12" action figure toy line meant to rival Barbie in the toy aisle, Hasbro brought G.I. Joe back in a more "modern" 3" scale due to the success Kenner was having with their Star Wars line and the increased cost of oil. With Marvel releasing an original comic book in 1982 and the character bios on the back of each card, the G.I. Joe line was a success even before the animated series released the following year. Featured here is the Cobra Ninja, Storm Shadow. This figure has been graded AFA 75 EX+/NM with subgrades C70, B80, and F80. This rare piece is a must have for any Joe collector.Auction Info
