Batman Batmobile in Original Box (Polistil, 1970) Italian Release. This Batmobile was released in Italy by Polistil in 1970 and includes the original box with Batman and Robin wearing the correct color outfits. The Mexican version which is similar has a box with Batman in a red cape although the Batmobile is red on both boxes. The car is plastic with a metal base, rubber wheels, and red hubcaps with Bat symbols on them. When the car rolls, the flames move back and forth inside the tail engine. Inside, Batman and Robin are both white, Batman with a blue cowl, cape, and chest symbol, and Robin with blond hair and red mask. The box has a die-cut top that can be folded up for display with the car inside the box showing. The Batmobile is in great condition and is unbroken with the original stickers on the doors. There is some residue from the pad on the bottom that car rests on in the box. The box has some wear, most being at the sides of the die cut top where the box folds on each side. The right side was torn and repaired with tape and there is also tape residue and a tear on the bottom panel where tape originally sealed the box. Overall the box shows age and is in fair condition.
