The first typed on The White House letterhead, sent to JW in Hollywood, CA, dated "October 22, 1956," reading in part "My visit to Los Angeles would not have been / so happy an occasion without your joining us / at the Hollywood Bowl," signed in black fountain pen ink in the lower right corner "Dwight Eisenhower;" the second typed on the same letterhead, sent to JW, dated "June 10, 1959," reading in part "...I / want to thank you for acting as master / of ceremonies at the Testimonial Dinner / to honor Republicans in Congress," signed in same manner, with original transmittal envelope; the third typed on personalized stationery, to "Friends," dated "14 October 1964," regarding Barry Goldwater for President, signed in same manner.
